Thetford Privacy Statement
We only process data we need for our products and services and to improve these products and services, and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our products and services with due care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
The commencement date for the validity of these conditions is 25 May 2018. The validity of all previous versions lapses with the publication of a new version.

Thetford Friends
Thetford likes to get in touch with campers so that we can improve the camping experience. Thetford started the ‘Thetford Friends’ for this reason.
As a Thetford Friend, we may ask you what you think of our existing or new products. In addition, Thetford Friends have the opportunity to test new products and to visit the factory in Etten-Leur.
We will send the Thetford Friends information and news about camping, camping trade shows and our products by email. We also regularly give advice and tips for an even better camping experience.
Thetford Friends always have the option of not responding if we ask for an opinion. In addition, Thetford Friends have the option of unsubscribing as a Thetford Friend at any time using the unsubscribe button in the email they receive or by sending an email requesting this to friends@thetford.eu. Thetford Friends also have the right to access, erase, rectify, transfer or object to the use of their personal data.
Thetford will not store Thetford Friends’ data unless this is necessary. The data will be deleted if a Thetford Friend requests it or automatically if Thetford has had no contact with the Thetford Friend for three years.

Thetford will not request more information than is necessary to assist you. We may ask for your telephone number or email address to contact you while we are handling your question. In addition, we may ask you for information about your vehicle and the relevant Thetford product so that we can provide you with a better service or to be able to check the warranty conditions.
You always have the right to access, erase, rectify, transfer or object to the recording of personal data. Thetford will not store your data unnecessarily; it will be deleted if you so request.
Thetford iNDUS app
The Thetford iNDUS app gives you, as a user, insight into the iNDUS system and, based on your location, shows you where you can discharge your wastewater. Your location is determined based on WLAN networks, mobile phone masts or by GPS. The data will be used to locate the nearest discharge locations in the app, it will not be used to register your location. Based on the serial number, the app provides Thetford with the location of the discharge location, any error messages and system diagnostics. The application only provides the serial number as a unique number, Thetford does not get any insight into your (personal) data.
When you use our app, we collect usage data from the app. We use this data for statistical purposes. In addition, the app will ask for authorisation to use Bluetooth to connect to the iNDUS system and access your device’s location to determine your location. You can manage the authorisation via the settings of your device.
If you report a malfunction or complaint to the iNDUS system via the button in the app, we will not ask for more information than necessary to help you. We may request your phone number or email address to stay in contact with you during the handling of your query. In addition, we can request information about your vehicle in order to provide a better service or to check the warranty conditions. At any time you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have your personal data deleted, corrected, transferred or, to object to the registered data.
Thetford will not save your data unnecessarily, it will be deleted when you request us to do so.
Security and safekeeping
Thetford takes the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful use. These security measures are periodically reviewed based on possible threats.
Our data is stored either on our own servers or on third-party servers.
Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy, or to comply with laws and regulations and/or to resolve disputes.

With these cookies we see which pages you visit on our website. This allows us to determine which of our advertisements are of interest to you and place them on other websites that you visit.
