1200 Series High Temperature Sensor Recall
Norcold® Recall #10E-049
- Models: 1200LR, 1200LRIM, 1201LRIM, 1210, 1211
- Must fall within both serial number ranges:

- Refrigerator serial number range from 315525 to 13088811
- Cooling unit serial number range from 700000 to 13085759

- Units produced from January 1, 2003 to October 6, 2010
If you know this recall has not been performed or if your HTS has tripped, and your refrigerator falls within both serial numbers, you should immediately:
- Set the refrigerator controls to “OFF”
- Unplug the refrigerator through the service vent on the outside of the vehicle
- Disconnect from shore power (if applicable)
- Contact a local Dealer or Service Center as soon as possible to get your unit inspected and the High Temperature Sensor kit ordered and installed
Note: If one or both of your serial numbers are outside of the recall serial number ranges listed above, and it is determined a replacement part is required, the Norcold® Temperature Monitor Control (TMC), part number 637360, is available. The TMC is not covered under the High Temperature Sensor recall, and the consumer will be responsible for all costs incurred.

N305/N306 Gas Valve Recall

- Models: N305, N306
- Must fall within the following serial number range:
- Refrigerator serial number range from 27378283 to 28230836
- Units produced from September 15, 2017, to February 15, 2018
N260, N300, 322/323 Propane Gas Valve Recall
Norcold® Recall: 99E-036 Models: 322/323
- Built: August, 1992 – August 1999
- Serial Numbers (ID label inside the refrigerator): Lower than 734884
- Turn the manual shut-off valve to OFF and operate on AV or DC power until the defect is repair. (No gas leak can occur during AC or DC operation)
- Contact your local Dealer or Service Center to arrange a service date as soon as possible. The remedy kit and labor will be at no charge to you.
N6/N8 Series Cooling Unit Replacement Recall
Norcold® Recall: 02E-019
- Models: N841, N821, N641, N621
- Cooling unit serial number range from 1038000 to 1099000
- These refrigerators were mostly installed in, but limited to, vehicle models from 1999 to 2000
Combination Control Gas Valve
Norcold® Recall: 02E-044
- Refrigerators built from January 1987 to May 1995
- If the serial number for your refrigerator model is within the specified range as listed below, the refrigerator’s gas valve needs to be remedied immediately. Refrigerator model and serial numbers can be viewed by looking on the inside right of your refrigerator cabinet.

- Immediately switch your refrigerator’s controls to AC or (or DC power, if available, while in transit). No LP gas power operation should occur as it could create an unsafe condition.
- Contact your local Dealer or Service Center to arrange a service date as soon as possible. The remedy kit will be at no charge to you.

Helpful Hint: If you’re purchasing a used coach/travel trailer from a private owner equipped with a Norcold® 1200 series refrigerator, Norcold® recommends opening the access panel to ensure the High Temperature Sensor recall kit is present and installed properly. If unsure, please contact a Norcold® Authorized Service Center.

All recall service parts must be shipped to and installed by your local service center. For your local service center to obtain recall parts, they will need to contact Norcold® directly, report the required diagnostic information, therefore, there would be no reason for reimbursement.

No, as the Norcold® High Temperature Sensor (HTS Kit) is a national safety recall with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Norcold® is unable to send parts directly to consumers. All parts must be shipped to and installed by a trained service technician; you can find your local Norcold® Service Center here.

No, the consumer is responsible for the service call fee as it is a convenience.

Your refrigerator can stop operating for several reasons. Norcold® recommends contacting your local service center to have your refrigerator properly diagnosed. Bypassing, altering, or modifying any of the electrical components of your refrigerator, including the HTS system, can limit or remove safety aspects of your refrigerator and should NOT be done under any circumstances.

- If slow flashing (1 flash per second): Low DC power.
- If fast flashing (2-3 flashes per second): There’s a break in thermistor wire.

A solid red light means the High Temperature Sensor (HTS Kit) has tripped. Please turn off the refrigerator and unplug from the 110V outlet. For proper diagnostics, contact your local Norcold® service center for safety and liability purposes.
