Aaron Ludwiczak

Aaron began his career in manufacturing as a staff accountant and quickly established himself as a key player in finance. Over the last 18 years with Thetford, he has held various leadership roles, including Plant Controller for both Thetford and Norcold manufacturing facilities, Corporate Controller within the Global Finance team, and his current role as Finance Director and a member of the US Executive Leadership team.

What inspired Aaron to pursue senior leadership? It was the chance to collaborate with a talented executive team and leverage his deep industry knowledge to help shape the company’s strategic direction. One of his biggest challenges has been shifting from managing the detailed workings of corporate accounting systems to becoming a strategic business partner. Thanks to guidance from mentors, Aaron continues to meet this challenge head-on.

In his current role, Aaron leads Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, and Accounting for the Americas. He manages a dynamic team, oversees financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts, and advises on long-term strategies. His extensive knowledge of Thetford’s customers and products, combined with his expertise in financial reporting and analysis, allows him to provide invaluable insights into how shifts in the market impact business decisions.

Aaron is most excited about working with a passionate, forward-thinking team that constantly seeks innovative solutions. His leadership is built on the foundation of years of experience in the industry, from navigating economic fluctuations to leading new product launches and acquisitions. His ability to guide teammates in understanding the broader impact of their decisions is one of his key strengths.

Outside of work, Aaron is an avid motorsports fan (with a particular love for NASCAR), enjoys music, fishing, and is a dedicated Detroit Red Wings supporter. Fun fact: Aaron originally set out to become an attorney but discovered his true calling in finance!
