Will my holding tank contents freeze?

Yes it is possible for holding tank contents to freeze. Use RV antifreeze in both the black and grey water tanks. It is compatible with all Thetford holding tank products.

How long with my holding tank treatment last?

Empty your waste-holding tank every 3 – 5 days (depending on the waste-holding tank additive you use). Extremely hot weather and longer retention time may require additional treatment.

What is a solution for holding tank sensors always reading 2/3 full?

Various problems may cause improper level sensor readings. Not all sensor problems can be corrected by the use of LGC. LGC restores level sensors that fail due to tissue and sludge build up.

What do enzymes do in my black tank?

Enzymes accelerate the natural breakdown of waste and toilet paper in the holding tank to reduce the malodors and prevent clogging during discharge.

Can I add more than the recommended dose of Aqua-Kem®, Aqua MAX®, Campa-Fresh®, AQUAbio®, Grey Water Odor Control to my holding tank?

Yes, you can add more than the recommended dose of 8-oz per 40 gallons of holding tank capacity. The products cannot harm a treatment system.

How does Aqua MAX® treat the waste in my holding tank?

The biological and enzyme ingredients in Aqua MAX® accelerate the natural breakdown of waste and toilet paper in the holding tanks to reduce the malodors. The fragrance in the product assists to mask any remaining odors.

When do I empty the waste holding tank?

When the level indicator shows full.

What can I do when my waste holding tank is leaking?

Replace the tank.
